Musafir.com is the UAE's first premium-experience travel website. We offer flights to over 3,000 destinations and stays in over 75,000 properties worldwide, with much more to come. We also offer a tailor-made holiday planning experience in two unique Musafir holiday lounges in Dubai and Sharjah. Musafir offers worldwide activities, tours, transfers, insurance, cruises, rail, charters, visa, MICE travel and staff incentive travel services through our Travel Experts.

The word musafir (pronounced moo-saa-fir) means “traveller” in Arabic and we at musafir.com live by three promises to all our travellers in everything we do – great choice, no-nonsense convenience and a premium experience.

Musafir.com was founded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, Sachin Gadoya and Albert Dias in August 2007 and was inaugurated by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani on April 23, 2009. We are incorporated under Universal Travels & Tourism LLC – an IATA accredited travel agency which was founded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani and Sachin Gadoya in 2005.

We established ourselves as a B2B/Corporate/SME and a reseller platform from inception until 2012 and decided to actively initiate and target the B2C segment from mid of 2012. We signed on iconic Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar as our brand ambassador for Musafir in 2012.

IT Positions

1. Senior Software Test Engineer

Work Experience: 5 years demonstrated experience designing test cases and execution strategies.

Qualification: A degree in computer engineering / science.

2. Technical Architect

Work Experience: 12 - 15 years in architecting, designing and developing .NET -based solutions on 4.0 / 4.5 frameworks.

Qualification: B.E.

3. IT Infrastructure Manager (Web / Cloud / Security)

Work Experience: 8 - 10 years experience in designing and managing Windows-based web hosting environments & 4+ years in configuring and managing firewall, WAF, DLP and IPS solutions. Must have managed e-commerce websites on AWS/Azure or similar cloud environments.

Qualification: A degree in science / technology.

4. Product Manager (Web)

Work Experience: 7 - 8 years experience in planning and managing websites, preferably in e-commerce, travel or hospitality. Developing user experience strategies, user journey planning, wire frame diagramming, user acceptance testing and product lifecycle management.

Qualification: A degree in computer engineering / science.

5. Senior Web UI Engineer

Work Experience: 8 to 10 years of UI design experience.
XHTML, CSS , jQuery & Javascript, developing XHTML templates work knowledge is mandatory.
Experience in any of the below:
* Module pattern of JavaScript
* NodeJS
* AngularJS
* BackboneJS

Qualification: A degree in computer engineering / science.

6. Web Designer

Work Experience: 5 years experience in designing travel, ecommerce or data-driven websites / apps.

Qualification: Any Graduates.

7. Senior Software Engineer

Work Experience: 7 years experience in develop middleware and web application modules in C# for the .NET framework and integrate with third party web services.

Qualification: BE.
