These people are easier to hire than somebody without a visa
because:

have a high quality education, strong work ethics and are familiar with
the local culture
Hiring managers hence ask themselves whether an overseas applicant
who has never even visited Europe, would actually like living in the
country. This is much less of an argument for people from other EU
countries.
So competing against “locals” is always tough when
