ABB's history in Malaysia began when the first power generator was installed in 1904 by MFO Oerlikon which is now part of the ABB Group. Today, most of ABB's operations are consolidated under ABB Malaysia Sdn Bhd which was established in 1973, with its head-office based in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
